Bistro 8 was established in 2012 and was inspired by traditional Parisian bistros. Bistro 8 was originally just one room with almost no facilities. Over time, we took over the next-door shop and the flat behind the bistro and interconnected everything into its current form. Kristýna Ambrozová (graphic designer) and Adam Tureček gave Bistro 8 its first design and “face”. (AAKKforever).
The “MUCK Studio” participated in further reconstruction in 2015. In 2017, we managed to get the space at Vinohrady, in Ondříčkova Street. Thanks to the support of the owner of the space, Peter Kohler, and of the architect, Simona Zapletalová, the new Bistro 8 was opened in autumn of the same year.
We prepare all our meals ourselves; we don’t use semi-prepared products. Where possible, we make every effort to use local and seasonal ingredients. The only products we sell from suppliers are beer, wine, fruit juice and some soft drinks.
